How to Request Assistance
If you would like to participate in one of our payment assistance options, here are the steps you should take:
- Contact Beneficial first
Contact a Beneficial Loan Specialist at 800-958-2540, or if your loan is not secured by property at 800-550-3278. The representative will be able to advise you on your options based on your situation.

Fill out the Payment Assistance Form online and submit it to Beneficial. It is important you complete the form in order for us to best assist you.
Once completed, please proceed to Step 2.
- Additional information may be required
If your loan is secured by property, we also require the following information in order to fully consider your request: Income information:
(please provide at least one of the following, whatever is applicable)- » The two (2) most recent pay-stub for all account holders, or
- » If self-employed, three (3) months of complete bank statements, or
- » If you’re not currently employed, your social security/unemployment benefit letters or denial letter, or
- » If you’re disabled, your disability benefits letter or denial letter, or if you’re retired, a pension or retirement letter
- » Additional information on your expenses:
» Medical bills (if applicable)
» Childcare (if applicable)
» Copy of court order for child support and/or alimony (if applicable)
- Mail or Fax all accompanying information

Once we have reviewed your information, a Beneficial Loan Specialist will be contacting you through the mail within 5-10 business days.
Our receipt of your payment assistance form should not be considered as an agreement to delay or postpone any Collections activities, up to and including foreclosure.
